Connie provides a comforting and confidential environment for people of all ages to find inner peace and healing through the therapeutic experience. She views herself as a helper, not a fixer. Her approach is energetic and empowering, balanced with compassion and warmth. She has a heart for individuals and families needing support and guidance through the healing process. Particularly families and individuals who are first responders and are exposed to a tremendous amount of trauma. Connie is primarily client-centered with a trauma-informed, holistic, and integrative approach utilizing: • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) EMDRIA Certified • Cognitive Behavior Therapy •Solution Focused •Motivational Interviewing •Mindfulness •Integrative Mental Health Modalities •Spiritual/Strengths Based Therapy Connie specializes in: •Trauma •PTSD •Crisis Intervention •Spiritual Integration •Assertiveness/Communication/Boundaries Skills •Integrative Mental Health Connie received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Park University and completed her Master of Arts from the University of Kansas. She is a member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association). Connie's interests include hanging out with her husband and family participating in hiking, biking, and outdoor sports, summer social events with family and friends, and fireworks for any occasion! She also enjoys good food, helping her community through local events and fundraisers, and reading a good book on slow weekends.
