Bio
Connie has spent the past 17 years in Community Mental Health in a variety of positions. She has a Master’s in Counseling. She is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri. Connie has been in the mental health field for the past 27 years. She has worked with youth, adolescents, adults in individual, family, as well as group therapy. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Therapy. She is an adjunct professor with Columbia College, teaching both online and in-seat courses in Human Services and Counseling.
Connie has worked with those that have experienced trauma for the past 30 years. She has worked with those that have experienced domestic violence, homelessness, sexual assault, and PTSD. She has a passion for helping others on their journey to health and wellness. She does a lot of volunteer work in her community and currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the local Salvation Army.
