Eric is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Master Addiction Counselor (LMAC) in Kansas and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) in Missouri. He has a Master of Divinity (MDiv) with an emphasis in pastoral counseling. Eric has cultural competence living and providing services on the Yakima Indian Reservation which is a diverse cultural environment including hispanic, African American, and Alaska Native and American Indian populations. He has worked in a social detox unit, provided substance use disorder therapy to individuals, families, and groups in both inpatient psychiatric setting and outpatient. Populations he has worked with include adolescents, adults and military/first responders. Eric is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Seeking Safety, Prolonged Exposure, University of Cincinnati Substance Abuse Program (UCSAP), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Eric works with clients to utilize existing strengths and develop coping skills that meets their needs. He offers support to address concerns and facilitate positive changes. Eric’s favorite self-care activities include volunteering with youth, puzzles, Star Wars and being outdoors.
