Jackie Mattingly, MA, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Missouri, dedicated to providing compassionate care and effective trauma therapy for first responders and their families. With over a decade of experience, Jackie has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by first responders. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based technique proven to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. Jackie's authenticity and ability to connect with her clients through genuine empathy sets her apart. Committed to empowering her clients, Jackie is passionate about helping them build resilience and reclaim their well-being, leading healthier, more balanced lives. As a former Community Mental Health Liaison, she was a POST-certified trainer in crisis intervention and trained at the Eastern Missouri Police Academy. Through the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), she currently serves on their DEFENSE debriefing team and participate in their Post Critical Incident Seminars (PCIS) to assist first responders and their spouses involved in critical incidents. She has collaborated with local leaders to establish a Peer Support program in our area and continues to serve on the Eastern Missouri Peer Support Council (EMPSC) as a mental health consultant. Jackie conducts annual mental wellness screenings for first responder departments on a contract basis, while also seeing clients in her private practice.
