Laura has been offering trauma therapy in Columbia since 2010 and has been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. She brings hope and evidence-based interventions to all who are overcoming childhood adversity and trauma throughout the lifespan. She finds the body-focused therapies of Deep Brain Reorienting and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to be highly effective, along with Ego-States Therapy and attention to the dissociative symptoms that accompany trauma. Laura provides EMDR for MO Dept of Corrections at their quarterly Post Critical Incident Seminars. She supports individuals age 18-up, couples and families and offers a sliding-fee scale.
