Lisa Flamion is a licensed professional counselor and trained crisis and hostage negotiator, serving as the Director of Crisis Intervention Services at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. With over a decade of experience, she specializes in suicide prevention, responding to mental health crises alongside law enforcement and providing critical interventions during suicidal emergencies.
Lisa trains police officers in Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs, emphasizing suicide risk recognition and de-escalation, and leads Officer Wellness initiatives to reduce suicide risk among first responders. She serves on the executive boards of the St. Louis Area and Jefferson County CIT Councils, is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and provides Critical Incident Stress Debriefings through partnerships with the Highway Patrol and the regional CISM Team.
