Bio

I currently work as a Community Behavioral Health Liaison (CBHL), where I screen and connect incarcerated individuals with community resources, support first responders, assist with critical incident debriefings, and teach Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) classes. I also maintain a small private practice, providing telehealth services to children and adults. I am passionate about helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and sleep difficulties. My approach is warm, supportive, and action-oriented, grounded in the belief that therapy should have purpose and direction. I work collaboratively with clients to process life experiences, develop emotional regulation skills, and build practical strategies for meaningful change. My style is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and individualized, honoring each person’s strengths and immediate needs. With several generations of military members in my family, a brother-in-law who served as a police officer, a mother who is a nurse, and my own experience working for the Department of Corrections within Probation and Parole, I bring both professional and personal insight into the realities of first responder life. These experiences, combined with my specialized training in trauma treatment, give me a unique understanding of the demands, exposures, and culture of frontline work. I joined the First Responder Provider Network to support Missouri’s first responders by helping them restore and maintain optimal functioning so they can continue serving in the careers they value. I am also affirming and open to working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
