She is passionate about clinician training and increasing access to quality mental health treatment in rural areas. She is enthusiastic about expanding mental health education for law enforcement and first responders and believes our greatest tool for mental health recovery is a combination of prevention and awareness of warning signs. Raven completed professional training at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR and has personal experience as a family member of law enforcement and military. Born and raised in Rural Missouri, Raven also has insight into the unique needs of law enforcement and first responders in rural areas, where every call could be related to a neighbor, friend, or loved one. Joni specializes in the use of EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has expertise in helping first responders successfully navigate end-of-career transitions, as well as manage anxiety and overwhelm responses to crises experienced in the field so first responders of all types can get back to work without worrying about a mental collapse at home or in the field. Joni works exclusively via telehealth using HIPAA compliant technology, so is available to meet treatment needs statewide.
