I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have spent the majority of my career working at a crisis line where I had the opportunity to work directly with law enforcement as a community mental health liaison and participate on local CIT councils and training committees. I have had the privilege of presenting at national and international conferences including CIT on trauma and stress. What I love the most from all the research around trauma is that we can heal trauma. This is my passion. Most of us have experienced a traumatic event and all of us experience stress on a daily basis (because we are human). This stress and trauma impacts our brain, our bodies, our worldview. My goal is to help you heal your brain and body to lead to a happier, healthier and more productive life. I do this by incorporating different therapeutic modalities including EMDR. In addition I am an adjunct instructor at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO and provide consultation on trauma informed services.
